Kinesiology Program

The Kinesiology program through the College of Education and Human Development’s Department of Kinesiology prepares students for a variety of pathways. The home of the Kinesiology department as well as Augusta University Athletics, Christenberry Fieldhouse allows students to meet and study in the dynamic center of the university’s sports science world.

Career Options

Graduates of the Kinesiology program can pursue a wide range of sports-related careers, including sports medicine, sports management, athletic training and physical education. They can also go on to graduate programs in areas like medicine, nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects for athletic trainers are predicted to increase by 23% over the next decade.
