Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation
The Wits School of Governance has added a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation to its fully online offerings. Monitoring and evaluation in the public and not for profit sectors has become critical in designing and implementing programmes in complex social contexts. There is a growing need to define appropriate programme indicators, design fit for purpose monitoring systems, and apply sound theoretical bases to programme design and evaluation. This qualification will teach you to conceptualise and track complex projects, analyse these projects, and report on the process, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Admission Requirements
- Applicants require a Bachelors degree or equivalent and preferably two years of relevant work experience in the public, parastatal or non-profit sectors. Students with relevant private sector experience will also be considered.
- The pass mark for these programmes is 50%. Students who achieve an average mark of 65% or more may proceed to one of the Masters programmes.
