Introduction to the Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary program that provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the languages, histories, cultures, and societies of China, Korea, and Japan.
Program Description
The program aims to equip students with cultural fluency and proficiency in at least one Asian language, including Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. Students will gain a deep understanding of the histories, cultures, and contemporary politics and economics of Asian societies, preparing them for lucrative careers in business, government, education, and the arts.
