Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology
The Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology explores the origins and history of the human species through investigating biological, cultural, and linguistic diversity in human populations. Students can take courses related to four major subfields of Anthropology: Archaeology, Biological, Linguistic, and Cultural Anthropology.

English Language Proficiency
The primary language of instruction in our classes, with the exception of those at the Faculté Saint-Jean, is English. For more information on the English Language Proficiency policy, refer to the U of A Calendar. Information on writing ELP examinations is also available.

While the cost calculator can give you an estimate based on full-time for the program you select, your tuition will be evaluated based on the specific courses you are registered in.
Scholarships and Financial Support
The Office of the Registrar administers over $52 million each year in scholarships, awards, and financial support for undergraduate students, as well as financial and loan advising. Additional scholarships are also available for specific faculties and programs.
