Bachelor of Science with Honors

The Bachelor of Science with Honors is a degree program designed for students to receive in-depth training in a specific subject area. This program is ideal for students drawn to scientific research, as a research thesis project is embedded in each program.


Why Study this Program?

This program is jointly offered by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Medicine and focuses on the study of the physiological system that prevents or limits attack by infectious organisms. The program considers the full range of host responses to pathogens that occur in living organisms. Techniques and skills used in studying immunology and infection include microscopy, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genomics, and proteomics.

Scholarships and Financial Support

The Office of the Registrar administers over $52 million each year in scholarships, awards, and financial support for undergraduate students. Additional scholarships are available for specific faculties and programs.
