Program Overview

The University of Alberta offers a combined degree program, BSc (Specialization in Science and Education)/BEd (Secondary), with a focus on Science and Education - Physical Sciences. This program allows students to study a diverse mix of courses in chemistry and physics, preparing them to teach at the junior high and high school level.

English Language Proficiency

The University of Alberta requires all students to have the language skills necessary to understand, participate, and learn in classes. The primary language of instruction is English, and students must meet the English Language Proficiency policy.

Tuition and Fees

Scholarships and Financial Support

The Office of the Registrar administers over $52 million each year in scholarships, awards, and financial support for undergraduate students, as well as financial and loan advising. Additional scholarships are available for specific faculties and programs.
