Online Graduate Certificate in Sustainability

The University of Alberta's four-course online graduate certificate in sustainability is designed to equip students with the latest knowledge and skills to lead and develop innovative solutions for complex, global sustainability challenges.

Program Structure

The program consists of four online courses, each six weeks in length, totaling 12 credits. Students can expect to spend approximately 15 hours of work per week on coursework. The courses are:

  • INT D 555: Fundamentals of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence
  • SUST 502: Integrated Sustainability Solutions
  • SUST 503: Leadership for the Sustainability Transition
