Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University offers several programs, including the Chemical and Process Engineering (ChPE) program. This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and process engineering, as well as specialized knowledge in bio-process engineering and sustainable energy.

Chemical and Process Engineering (ChPE) Program

The ChPE program is a four-year full-time program that aims to provide students with a comprehensive education in chemical and process engineering. The program is designed to fulfill the requirements for program accreditation by the Council of Engineers Thailand, and graduates will be able to apply and obtain the license to practice engineering as a profession in the Chemical Engineering field.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the ChPE program, applicants must have completed or be currently studying in Mathayom 6 (Grade 12), or equivalent. The admission requirements include:

• English Test: TOEFL (Internet-Based) or IELTS or CU-TEP
• Math Test: CU-AAT (Math section) or A Level (Mathematics) or AP Calculus AB or ACT Math or IB (Mathematics HL) or SAT (Math section) or SAT Subject in Math Level II
• Science Test: CU-ATS or A Level (Physics and Chemistry) or AP Physics 1, 2, or C-Mechanics and AP Chemistry or ACT Science or IB (Physics HL and Chemistry HL) or SAT Subject Tests (Physics and Chemistry)

Fees

The tuition fees for the ChPE program are as follows:

• Regular Semester: 25,500 Baht (Thai student) or 25,500 Baht (Non-Thai student)
• Program Fee: 84,000 Baht (Thai student) or 138,000 Baht (Non-Thai student)
• Total fees per semester: 109,500 Baht (Thai student) or 163,500 Baht (Non-Thai student)
