Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Care

Overview

The Master Degree Program in Pharmaceutical Care at Chulalongkorn University was established to produce graduate students in several fields of expertise. Students can choose to participate in faculty members research, including patient care in different areas, such as endocrinology, oncology, nephrology, cardiovascular system, central nervous system, infectious disease, immunology, transplantation, HIV, adverse drug reaction, clinical trials, pharmacogenomics, pharmacotherapy, health-related outcomes, personalized medicine, population pharmacokinetics, clinical pharmacokinetics, clinical nutrition, and health system.

Admission

The program enrolls new students once a year. Application submission takes place between February and the first week of May, followed by an interview examination in May.


Applicants Qualifications:

Plan Kor 1 (thesis only)
  1. Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy with a GPAX of 3.00 or above.
  2. Possess pharmacy experience of at least 3 years; otherwise, applicants must have a GPAX of at least 3.50.
  3. English Proficiency Exam Score that meets the universitys requirement.
  4. Have a Pharmacy License.
  5. Have other qualifications that may be announced by the Graduate School in each year or being approved for enrollment by the academic program committee.
Plan Kor 2 (coursework and thesis)
  1. Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy with a GPAX of 2.50 or above.
  2. English Proficiency Exam Score that meets the universitys requirement.
  3. Have a Pharmacy License.
  4. Have other qualifications that may be announced by the Graduate School in each year or being approved for enrollment by the academic program committee.

Curriculum

The curriculum comprises 36 credits, which take approximately 2 years to complete. There are two programs available: Plan Kor 1 (thesis only, 36 credits) and Plan Kor 2 (coursework 18 credits and thesis 18 credits).
