This part-time tutored online course offers detailed training in passive and non-passive bird surveying techniques.

Professional ecological consultants, environmental managers and rangers, research and postgraduate students, and volunteers.

Students typically study on this course alongside their work. The course can be taken with or without Masters-level credit.

Application

Application/registration processing will close 6 weeks before the start of the course.

Selection Criteria

All candidates must meet certain criteria, including holding a minimum qualification equivalent to a first Honours Degree and demonstrating an ability to commit the necessary time to study.

IT Requirements

The course is delivered online and uses the Departments online assignment submission system. Students will need access to the Internet and a computer meeting the recommended minimum computer specification.
