Introduction to the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies

The Bachelor of Actuarial Studies is a three-year undergraduate degree program offered by the UNSW Business School. This program is designed to provide students with the mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills needed to assess risk and make data-driven financial decisions.

Entry to the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies is based on the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or an equivalent rank derived from other qualifications. The lowest selection rank for 2025 was 99.0.

English Language Requirements

Students may be required to provide evidence of their English proficiency to study at UNSW, depending on their educational background and citizenship.
