Computer Systems Engineering (Universitas Gadjah Mada dual degree) MSc
This Masters in Computer Systems Engineering provides an extensive introduction to state-of-the-art miniaturised and mobile computer systems and smart device technology. The programme allows students to acquire the complementary hardware and software knowledge and skills required to design and develop such systems.
Teaching Start
The programme starts in September.

The programme is taught jointly in Glasgow by the Schools of Engineering and Computing Science, and at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
Duration
- MSc: 12 months full-time (Glasgow)
- MEng: 9 months full-time (Yogyakarta), then 12 months full-time (Glasgow)
Why this Programme
As computer systems have reduced in size, and are increasingly mobile with more complex functionalities, they are now a fundamental component of smart device technology. This postgraduate programme is particularly suited to acquiring the complementary hardware and software knowledge and skills required for understanding and designing such systems.
Programme Structure
Students will take year one of the Universitas Gadjah Mada MEng Information Engineering, and will obtain 24-32 Indonesian Credits in year 1.
- UGM programme structure Modes of delivery of the MSc in Computer Systems Engineering include lectures, seminars, and tutorials, and allow students the opportunity to take part in lab, project, and team work.

Funding
Students will automatically be eligible for the CoSE Partner scholarship of 20% of the international tuition fee. LPDP scholarship is available for the dual degree programme.

For applicants from non-English speaking countries, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.

- LanguageCert Academic/Academic Online: 70 overall with no subtest less than 65
- Password Skills Plus: 6.5 overall with no subtest less than 6.0
- Trinity College Integrated Skills in English II: Two subtests at 96 or higher, and two subtests at 80 or higher
- Kaplan Test of English: Any two subtests at 480 or higher, and any two subtests at 450 or higher
- University of Glasgow Pre-sessional courses: Tests are accepted for 2 years following date of successful completion
