Introduction to the Health Sciences Program
The online Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences program is designed to be flexible, allowing students to continue working and meeting family obligations while advancing their education. Although not required, students with an earned Associate's Degree in any field can have program coursework waived.
Program Description
The health sciences program is a foundational undergraduate degree that introduces students to the healthcare field and provides in-depth science learning, preparing them for a health-related career or a graduate professional health program. This unique undergraduate degree may be used by students to enter the workforce or to apply to a graduate professional program, including:
- Medicine
- Dentistry
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Public health
- Hospital administration
- Physician's assistant
- Nurse practitioner
- Medical dietetics
Program Details
The program is available online, offering students the flexibility to balance their education with other responsibilities. Applicants are encouraged to check the University's Online Programs State Authorization webpage to determine if the program is available in their home state. Residents outside of the U.S. are not able to participate in distance learning programs.
