Introduction to the RN to BSN Program

The Ohio State University's online RN to BSN program is designed for registered nurses who hold an associate degree in nursing. This program is 100% asynchronous and offers a flexible, efficient path to earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Program Overview

• The program requires a minimum of 30 credits for degree completion.
• It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• The curriculum includes courses such as Foundations and Contemporary Issues for RNs, Cultural Competence in Health Care, Concepts in Community Health Nursing, Evolving Concepts in Leadership and Management, Health Care Informatics, Interprofessional Concepts, and Evidence-Based Practice.

Admission Criteria

• An associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma from an institution with a CNEA or ACEN-accredited nursing education program.
• An active and unrestricted RN license.
• A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants must reside in an authorized state.

2. Submit official transcripts: From all colleges and universities previously attended.
3. International applicants only: Provide English proficiency test scores.
