Agricultural Communication Program

The Agricultural Communication program at Ohio State University provides students with the opportunity to study journalism, marketing, public relations, and graphic design within the context of the agricultural industry. Additionally, students choose a minor in an area of agriculture or natural resources to provide scientific and technical expertise in agriculture. Study Abroad

Students can participate in education abroad programs, including the agricultural and environmental communications program that travels to England and Scotland. This program provides opportunities to meet with English and Scottish communicators, visit livestock farms, and explore historical sites.


Internship

All Agricultural Communication students complete two required internships in a communication area, which can be completed locally, nationally, or globally.

Student organizations, such as Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow and Citation Needed, offer opportunities for professional growth and leadership development. The Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Learning Community allows students to interact with others who share their professional interests by living in a residence hall with other students in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
