MS in Finance and Business Analytics
Academics
The STEM-designated Master of Science in Finance and Business Analytics is a 45-credit masters degree program that can be completed in three terms of full-time study beginning in the fall (August) term. It is also possible to pursue the MS in Finance and Business Analytics part-time, starting in the fall, spring (January), or summer (May).
Program Overview
The program combines foundational quantitative and qualitative finance skills with powerful data analysis tools and technical skills, preparing students to tackle challenges in portfolio analysis, risk management, and capital markets. As a CFA Institute Partner School, Katz offers a finance curriculum covering 70 percent of the topics on the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam, enhancing preparation for related certifications such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications.
