Program Overview


Introduction to the Health Informatics Program

The Health Informatics program at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) is designed to educate healthcare professionals in the development of data- and technology-driven informatics solutions to improve patient care. The program is led by expert faculty who are thought leaders and innovators in the field.


Program Overview

The Health Informatics program offers a Master of Science degree or certificates, with the option to complete an internship or capstone project during the final term. The program is available in both on-campus and online formats.


Program Format

  • On-campus: Courses are offered on Oaklands campus.
  • Online: The program is 100% online.

Program Duration

  • Full-time: 12-16 months (3-4 terms, including 1 summer term)
  • Part-time: 2 years (6 terms, including 2 summer terms)
