Creighton Universitys Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine program helps students develop their critical thinking and decision-making skills, while also providing instruction about direct patient care and EMS tools, techniques, and current advancements. Along with learning in the classroom, students participate in clinical immersion and direct patient care by working with local fire departments, ambulance services, and clinical units within area hospitals.
All the EMS courses offered include curricula based on the current United States Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, National EMS Education Standards, and Guidelines.
As a paramedicine major, students explore:
