Structure and Availability
The course structure consists of 28 units, including core and elective units. The nominal duration of the bricklaying apprenticeship is 48 months, with an expected duration of 42 months. Apprentices can be accepted throughout the year, and training dates are structured upon intake. On-campus training is conducted on CQUniversity's Rockhampton City Campus.

Requirements
Entry requirements for this course include completion of the bksb (Basic Key Skills Builder) online literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy assessment prior to enrolment, unless the student has completed an equal or higher-level course. A strong grasp of basic mathematics is also beneficial.
Fees and Scholarships
The total fee for this course is $23,352, with a fee for service per unit of $834. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) fees apply at $626 per unit. Scholarships, bursaries, and stipends are available to support students with their studies.
