Graduate Diploma of Positive Psychology
The Graduate Diploma of Positive Psychology is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time course that focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating positive change interventions and programs suitable for individuals, groups, organisations, and communities.

This course allows students to work with children, teenagers, and adults across various local and international contexts, enhancing wellbeing, capacities, resilience, and strengths. Positive psychology is the scientific study of wellbeing and resilience, focusing on conditions that enable individuals and communities to thrive.

Structure and Availability
The course structure and available locations may change depending on the study period. Students must complete eight units (48 credits), including:

Requirements
To be eligible, students must meet the entry requirements, including English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements. Inherent requirements must also be met throughout the study period.
Fees and Scholarships
The indicative first-year fee is $17,392 (Commonwealth Supported Place) or $30,200 (Full Fee Paying). Students may be eligible for Commonwealth Supported Places, HECS-HELP, or other scholarships.

Students must submit a direct application to CQU, meeting the course requirements and following the application steps. Direct applications for Term 1, 2026, close on February 23, 2026.
