Overview of the Professional Development Workshop
The Professional Development Workshop, PDC86982 - Graphics 3D and Computer Aided Design, is designed to provide teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach Graphics and 3D CAD in the discipline of Industrial Technology and Design in the Middle years of schooling (7-10).

- Saturday 11/4/26 Monday 13/4/26 Brisbane: St Laurences College 8.00am 5.00pm, Tutor: Mark Wockner, Building: Br Spillane ITAD Centre.
- Saturday 11/4/26 Monday 13/4/26 (if required, depending on student numbers Tuesday 14/4/26 Thursday 16/4/26)

Course Learning Outcomes
On completion of the workshop, students will gain an understanding of:
- Knowledge of graphics courses in typical Queensland secondary schools
- Skill development of projects made in the graphics and 3D computer-aided designs
- Knowledge of various programs in Graphics and 3 Dimensional design technologies
- Criteria marking standards development and profile development
- How to plan and develop courses to teach
- Facility maintenance and resource development
- Workplace Health and Safety in the classroom.

The workshop is designed for teachers working in Queensland who need to upskill in the discipline. The workshop is limited to 4 students only.

Upon successful completion of the Professional Development Workshop, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours Certificate of Completion.
