Featured Course: Integration Practicum (NURS 440)

In Integration Practicum, students work closely with a clinical mentor to practice leadership, apply evidence-based care, and sharpen their communication and decision-making skills. This course helps students synthesize what they've learned throughout the BSN program and prove they're ready to lead in real healthcare settings.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

• Transfer general education, prerequisite science, and pre-licensure nursing courses from an accredited institution
• 30 competency credits awarded for passing the NCLEX-RN
• 3-credit statistics course completed within the past five years at an accredited institution may be transferred
• Final 27-30 credits must be earned at Montclair

Admission Requirements

• Complete the online application
• Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended
• Graduate of an accredited associate degree or diploma program with a minimum 2.5 overall GPA
• Hold an active RN license in New Jersey in good standing, or be eligible for NJ licensure as a new graduate
• Nursing students currently completing their associate degree or diploma may apply, as long as they will finish before the first day of classes at Montclair, and must pass the NCLEX-RN within six months of starting the program.
