Sports Communication Program
The Sports Communication program at Montclair State University prepares students to tell the stories that bring the excitement of sports to life while getting them ready to succeed in a fast-growing and competitive industry.
Program Overview
Students will learn how to produce, write, and direct compelling sports content across broadcast, radio, digital, and social media, all while training in cutting-edge facilities with the latest industry equipment. They will discover what makes sports media work, from play-by-play announcing to analytics and public relations, and use those skills to create content that connects fans and communities.
