Anatomy, MS Program

The Anatomy, MS program is offered by the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University.


Program Description

The core curriculum provides a broad biomedical background, with coursework opportunities for qualified students to study all aspects of human morphology from both didactic and investigative points of view. Students can also develop a special area of research interest, and their curriculum may include study and research on other species and in other biomedical disciplines. By the end of the program, graduates should be able to:


  • Apply the biomedical sciences to the study of human anatomy
  • Demonstrate mastery of molecular, cellular, and integrative aspects of anatomy
  • Interpret current literature in anatomy
  • Make original contributions to biomedical science
  • Demonstrate scientific and professional ethics

Program Length

The program is two years in length, based on full-time enrollment, but part-time enrollment is also permitted.
