Program Overview
Overview of the MS in Cellular and Molecular Medicine
The MS in Cellular and Molecular Medicine is a full-time two-year program in the biomedical sciences with a focus on translational research and human disease. Graduates from the program will be competitive for admission to doctoral degree programs (Ph.D., M.D.) and for research-oriented jobs in industry, academia, or government.
Admission Requirements
- Eligibility criteria include a bachelors degree from a qualified college or university.
- Recommended courses include biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, physics, and calculus. Cell biology and/or biochemistry is also recommended.
- Passage of the TOEFL is required for all students whose undergraduate instruction was conducted in a language other than English.
- Applicants must submit:
- Official undergraduate transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- A statement of interest in response to a specified prompt
- Standardized test scores (GRE) are not required but will be considered if submitted
- Demonstration of English Proficiency may be required (TOEFL)
- Applicants will attend a virtual informational session
- Acceptances will be made on a rolling basis
