Master in Clinical Research Management

The Master in Clinical Research Management is a program designed to train highly qualified human resources to professionalize clinical research in health units, universities, biobanks, pharmaceutical companies, health technology companies, and other organizations involved in research.


Generic Objectives

The generic objectives defined for the study programme include:


  • Medical research, particularly clinical research, as a key activity for the development of innovation in health
  • Contributing to advancements in public health and health systems
  • Understanding the ethical issues and legislation surrounding clinical research
  • Recognizing the importance of complex infrastructures and different basic research in clinical trials
  • Ensuring the correct application of Good Clinical Practices in research teams

  • Describing and explaining the components of clinical research
  • Identifying and justifying the ethical principles of a clinical study
  • Defining and applying management strategies to implement clinical studies
  • Applying the quality management system in a clinical study

  • Enumerating and evaluating epidemiology concepts applicable to non-interventional clinical studies
  • Describing data collection methods in a clinical study according to its objectives
  • Applying statistical strategies to the design of studies
  • Analyzing and implementing activities related to data management
  • Identifying funding sources and collaborating in the drafting of proposals
  • Preparing reports and documents related to the management and implementation of clinical studies
