Introduction to the 1st Cycle Degree in Office Management and Business Communication
The 1st cycle degree in Office Management and Business Communication (OMBC) is designed to train qualified professionals capable of assisting or providing support to board or administration members of public and private companies or agencies. This course aims to contribute to equal opportunities in the business world, particularly by encouraging women's empowerment.
Course Objectives and Outcomes
Based on multidisciplinary training, this course encourages the development of skills in information and communication technologies, allowing graduates to work in different organizational contexts at the national and international levels. Students are expected to acquire knowledge and competencies that enable them to organize administrative tasks, run communication flows, optimize resources, and contribute to the management process and the development of organizations.
Expected Competencies of Graduates
Graduates in Office Management and Business Communication should be able to:
- Identify, select, and adequately use different sources of information in the process of organizing and summarizing information necessary to an organizations Administration or Board and to decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with the different stakeholders of the organization, demonstrating adequate behavioral and interpersonal competencies, in Portuguese and in two other languages.
