The Microcredencial in Introductory Welding Course is designed for beginners, aiming to provide basic knowledge in the art of welding. The course covers various technological processes of welding and cutting, including practical experimentation.
Course Objectives
After attending the course, students should be able to:
- Recognize, select, and explain the various welding and thermal cutting processes, as well as anticipate the effects of welding on constructions.
- Define which welding joint is best suited for a given application.
- Identify precautions to take when performing a welded construction and potential defects.
Course Structure
The course includes a practical laboratory component where students experience various welding processes. Upon completion, the University issues a certificate listing the holder's name and the learning outcomes achieved.
