The Master in Physics and Chemistry Teacher Education in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Schooling and Secondary Schooling (2nd cycle) provides professional qualification for teaching Physics and Chemistry in the 3rd cycle of basic education and in secondary education.


Program Objectives

The Masters programme aims to promote the development of competences that enable students to:


  • acquire a training profile suited to the requirements of the teaching profession, in line with national educational policy guidelines;
  • become professionals capable of responding to contemporary challenges faced by schools and teachers;
  • apply, in real educational contexts, the knowledge, skills and attitudes gained in previous training, fostering innovative, intervention-oriented and contextually appropriate pedagogical practices that address concrete situations in the classroom, in the school and within the wider community.
