The UA Master's Degree (2nd cycle) in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) aims to promote inclusive education in the areas of Industrial Engineering, training future professionals with the ability to plan, manage and control complex systems with a view to sustainable production, as well as sustainable supply chain management. This training incorporates specific guidelines that promote a balance between economic progress and social responsibility, offering students a set of engineering and management tools to face societal challenges in global ecosystems and industrial environments.

Professional Outcomes
The holders of the masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) develop a multiplicity of knowledge and competencies in several areas of knowledge. In addition to the acquisition of advanced knowledge in the specialization area of the study cycle, other competencies can be emphasized, such as:
