- Academic Admission requirements (Band 1): Demonstrated technical production skills in at least one technical area that supports learning at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 6 or above.
- English Language requirements (Band 1): Year 10 English completion or equivalent.
- Applications for this course are not accepted through ECU's Experience Based Entry Scheme.
