Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry)

The Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) is a postgraduate degree designed for individuals with a degree in a discipline other than nursing who are considering a career in the nursing profession. This course has a strong focus on clinical nursing practice and research, including work practicums in Perth hospitals to prepare students for working in the healthcare industry.

Important Course Notes

  • Clinical or Professional Work Placement Requirement: Students will undertake a total of 800 hours of professional placement experience.
  • Attendance Requirements: Students are required to undertake a minimum 800 hours of full-time clinical placements.
  • Clearances and/or Risk Management Protocols Required: Various clearances and protocols are required for clinical practice, including police clearances, health screenings, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Professional Practice Rules: Students will be expected to comply with the conduct requirements of their clinical placement.
