Course Overview
This course prepares graduates to practice high-quality, evidence-based paramedicine in a wide spectrum of health and cultural settings. Students will develop a deep understanding of paramedicine principles, concepts, and procedures, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse professional practitioners, patients, and observers.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to this course, students must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Admission requirements (Band 3): Students must meet the academic admission requirements for this course, which includes an indicative or guaranteed ATAR, or completion of one of the following:
- AQF Cert IV
- Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent)
- Undergraduate Certificate
- Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test
- University Preparation Course
- Indigenous University Orientation Course
- Experience Based Entry Scheme
- English Language requirements (Band 5): Students seeking registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia must demonstrate English language proficiency as specified in their English language skills registration standard.
English Language Requirements
International students are required to provide an IELTS Academic with an overall minimum score of 7.0 (no individual band less than 7.0). Acceptable tests also include:
- Pearson English Test (PTE) Academic with a minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking)
- TOEFL iBT with a minimum total score of 94 and the following minimum score in each section of the test:
- 24 for listening
- 24 for reading
- 27 for writing
- 23 for speaking
Fees
The estimated first-year indicative fee for domestic students is AUD $9,550, while the estimated first-year indicative fee for international students is AUD $42,200.
