Bachelor of Music
The Bachelor of Music degree provides students with the skills to succeed in the music industry. Students can pursue highly specialist training in areas both inside and outside of their chosen major. With a focus on practical skills in classical, contemporary, jazz, composition, and sonic arts, the course is taught by world-class practitioners whose expertise spans the breadth of the music world today.

Students will complete units in the core program plus a major from their chosen specialist study area:

- Contemporary Performance
- Jazz Performance Students will also complete 1 WAAPA Music History elective unit and 6 elective units, which must be chosen from the list of recommended electives.

- Performance Experience requirement: The Bachelor of Music degree offers students a wealth of real-world performance opportunities, in large ensembles like symphony orchestras and big bands, as well as smaller bands or chamber ensembles.
