Mechanical Engineering Foundation Programme

The Mechanical Engineering Foundation Programme at Aston University is designed to provide students with the essential skills and knowledge to transition onto a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering degree. This programme is ideal for students who do not currently have the grades or subjects to progress straight onto an undergraduate degree programme within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

The foundation programme is a one-year, full-time course that equips students with the fundamental principles and disciplines of mechanical engineering, science, and mathematics. Course Description

The programme provides first-class teaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and access to industry-standard software, including Adobe and Solidworks. Students will learn through a combination of lectures, workshops, and project-based learning, with a focus on hands-on experience and real-world applications.
