Course Overview

The Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship is a Level 6 program designed to provide practical and theoretical training for digital marketers. This course is ideal for those early in their career or school leavers applying for Degree Apprenticeship roles.


Course Description

This course will provide mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals, enhancing practical knowledge. By successfully completing this program, apprentices will be awarded a BSc in Digital Marketing and an apprenticeship certificate.

Entry Requirements

  • Apply for a Degree Apprenticeship role or already be employed in a job in England with responsibilities aligned with the degree content
  • Indicative entry requirements:
    • A Levels: CCC or above
    • GCSEs: Five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English
  • Apprentices are selected based on their applications, an interview, and an assessment process

Course Fees

  • Tuition fees are met by the UK government and the employer
  • Funding band for this degree apprenticeship: Ł21,000

Assessment

  • Assessed through two applied assignments per module that relate directly to the role in the organization
  • No traditional examinations; assessments give the opportunity to demonstrate how learning has been implemented and had a positive impact
  • Final year: Complete a large work-based project requiring application of all theory and skills gained throughout the apprenticeship

End Point Assessment

  • The apprenticeship concludes with the end-point assessment (EPA)
  • Present work-based project to an interview panel explaining what was delivered, how skills were implemented, and the impact on the organization
  • Participate in a professional discussion to demonstrate competencies and application of learning in the workplace
  • Assessors consider what grade should be awarded for the apprenticeship: fail, pass, merit, or distinction
