Introduction to Nova Southeastern University's Dual Admission Program
Nova Southeastern University offers a Dual Admission program in Public Administration, allowing qualified freshman and transfer students to complete a combined bachelor's degree and master's degree in a total of five and a half years.

The Dual Admission program is designed for students who want to accelerate their journey toward success in public administration. The program allows students to complete their bachelor's degree in four years and their master's degree in an additional 18 months. Classes are offered in online or weekend formats, and master's courses are taught by faculty with real-world experience and doctoral degrees in their fields of study.
Degrees Earned
Students in the Dual Admission program can earn any bachelor's degree and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.).

The program is designed to be completed in five and a half years, with students earning their bachelor's degree in four years and their master's degree in an additional 18 months.
Interview Required
Students applying for dual admission must interview during Shark Preview, an exclusive admitted student event.
Deadline to Apply
The deadline to apply for the Dual Admission program is February 1 for fall admission.
Eligibility
To be considered for dual admission, students must meet certain requirements, including undergraduate admission requirements and graduate admission requirements.
Undergraduate Admission Requirements
- High school students must have a 3.0 weighted GPA.
- Transfer students must have a minimum of 30 transfer credits and a 3.0 GPA.
- No test scores are required to interview.
Graduate Admission Requirements
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree in any major.
- Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Additional prerequisites may be communicated upon admission.
Additional Requirements
- High school credits earned through advanced high school programs may transfer to NSU.
- Students who enter NSU with earned college credits may be able to complete their degree and program requirements earlier than scheduled.
Application Process
To apply for the Dual Admission program, students must:
- Apply for undergraduate admission using the NSU Application or the Common App.
- Complete a supplemental Premier Programs application for fall entry.
- Interview during Shark Preview.
