Description of the Program

The curriculum of the general medicine course in P嶰s is designed to provide a foundation upon which the future physician can build their medical knowledge. The program consists of six years of pre-clinical and clinical studies. The curriculum is drawn up in the belief that direct experience with patients is fundamental to a sound medical education. The program includes:


  • Basic and pre-clinical modules, where students become familiar with the structure and functions of the healthy human body and the formation and features of pathological processes.
  • Clinical modules, where specific diseases are taught and diagnostic and therapeutic skills are developed.
  • Clinical rotation, a full practical year in wards, where students carry out medical activities under the control of teachers.

Recognition

The diploma issued by the Medical School is recognized by all European Union countries and several other countries, including Norway, USA, Canada, and Israel.
