Description of the Program
The program aims to train experts with thorough knowledge and understanding of the literature, culture, and social and political systems of English-speaking countries. Graduates can apply their knowledge in the business sector, media, education, diplomacy, and other fields. The program is offered to full-time students and in the form of a correspondence program.

Application Requirements
The applicant must submit the following documents:
- Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copy of BA diploma in English Studies (major or minor) - with transcript of records
- Minimum condition for entry to the Masters degree program: at least 38 credits in the field of English and American Studies.
- Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copy of school transcripts showing satisfactory completion of senior high school.
- Europass CV in English
- Motivation letter (introduction plus field of interest, etc.) in 3000 to 3500 characters.
- Copy of valid passport or national ID
- Medical certificate
- Transfer receipt of the EUR 140 application fee
- English language proficiency certificate (C1 level)

Entrance Exam
An entrance exam is required, which will focus on the selected area of specialization.

- 1st semester: The System of English in a Historical Perspective, Research Methodology
- 2nd semester: Current Issues in Literary and Cultural Studies, Individual Differences in SLA, A Cultural History of Literary Genres in Britain
- 3rd semester: Metaphor and Thought, The Gothic and Fantastic in English Literature
- 4th semester: electives, such as New Englishes, English Corpus Linguistics, Modernism and Postmodernism in the Literatures of the British Isles
