Description of the Program

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides patient-centered, safe, and high-quality care by partnering with patients and their caregivers. They blend their clinical expertise with health prevention and health management, delivering a unique blend of nursing and medical care. Nurse Practitioners in Hungary will be clinicians with advanced degrees in acute and emergency care areas, and they will be able to do assessments, perform and interpret diagnostics tests, set diagnoses, as well as prescribe medications and other treatments. APRNs can work in their full scope of practice in countries and facilities where this degree is recognized on a national level.


Specializations

Following further specializations of the APRN are available within the training program of Nurse Practitioner:


  • Emergency Care Nurse Practitioner (every 2nd year)
  • Nurse Anesthetist (every 2nd year)
  • Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner

  • General Entry Requirements: For the general entry and language requirements, please note that a Bachelor of Nursing degree is required for entry level.

    • Medical documents (General Medical Certificate, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, chest X-ray medical results, Hepatitis B vaccination card)
