Program Overview

The PhD program in British, Irish, and American Literatures in English at the University of Pécs provides students with a comprehensive background in literary history and theory, cultural studies, and the fields of British, Irish, and American literatures. Applicants are exempt from the language examination requirement if they hold a MA degree in English/American Studies or have an English proficiency (MOI) certificate issued by the Registrar's Office of their previous university.
