M.S. Degree in Cancer Chemical Biology

The M.S. in Cancer Chemical Biology has a rolling admissions policy, with applications considered throughout the year for admission the next Fall term, based on admissions deadlines.

Program Overview

This program may be of interest to post-baccalaureate students seeking additional quantitative scientific coursework and experience prior to applying to graduate school, medical school, pharmacy school, nursing school, and dental school, as well as to international students who wish to obtain direct experience at a U.S. institution prior to applying to U.S. scientific doctoral programs.

Career Opportunities

Many graduates of our intensive one-year program go on to pursue a Ph.D., or medical, pharmacy, nursing or dental degrees. Others apply their skills to jobs in industry or other positions outside of academia. International students gain direct experience at a U.S. institution including access to courses provided by the English Language Institute, with much of their offerings focused on high-level communication skills.

Admission Consideration

The Program in Chemical Biology offers preferred consideration for admission interviews with the Ph.D. program for students who maintain a GPA of 4.0 or higher (on a scale to 4.3) in their M.S. coursework.

Funding

At this time, the Program in Chemical Biology is unable to offer financial support. Fellowship information is available from the Graduate School.
