Bachelor of Biomedical Science
The Bachelor of Biomedical Science program at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how the human body works and what happens when diseases, infections, and clinical disorders occur. This program develops knowledge and skills for working in applied biomedical industries and medical research.
Program Structure

Program Requirements
To graduate, students must successfully complete 288 units as outlined in the program structure, complete no more than 10 introductory level (100 coded) courses, and meet other specific requirements.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum ATAR/Rank requirement, which is 60.00 for both Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay locations. Recommended prior study includes English, General Maths, Maths Methods or Specialist Maths, and at least one science subject (preferably Chemistry or Biology).
Fees and Scholarships
The estimated annual tuition fee for domestic students is A$10,519 (2026 fees), and A$32,500 for international students. Students may be eligible for scholarships and Commonwealth supported places.
