Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance)

The Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) is a major offered as part of the Bachelor of Business program. Completing this major leads to the award of a Bachelor of Business with a major in Economics and Finance.


Program Overview

This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business principles, including management, business law, corporate governance, and social responsibility. Students will also have the opportunity to choose from electives in trade and finance, and FinTech innovations, and gain access to the latest tech-driven innovations in financial management. Additionally, students will gain practical experience through a 96-hour internship or industry-facing project, applying their marketing knowledge in a real-world setting.


Location and Duration

The program is available at the Sunshine Coast campus and online. The duration of the program is 3 years full-time or equivalent part-time. Only a full-time option is available to international students on a Student visa. Online programs are not available to Student visa holders.

Program Requirements

Entry Requirements

For entry into the program, students must meet the minimum entry threshold of 50.00 ATAR/Rank. Recommended prior study includes English, General Maths, Maths Methods or Specialist Maths.
