Introduction to the Master's in Biomaterials and Nanomedicine

The Master's in Biomaterials and Nanomedicine is a unique program that enables students to work in fields with the potential to revolutionize medicine, offering innovative solutions for a variety of diseases and medical conditions. Conditions of Admittance

Admission Rules

To be admitted to the program, applicants must meet one of the following conditions:


  1. Holders of a 1st degree (or legal equivalent) in the areas of Engineering Sciences, Exact Sciences, or Natural Sciences.
  2. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree conferred after a 1st cycle of studies organized in the above areas, in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process.
  3. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, in those areas, that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology.
  4. Holders of an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, under proposal of the Scientific Committee of the programme, as testifying the ability to carry out this programme.

Ranking

The ranking of applicants is based on the following criteria:

  2. Academic and scientific curriculum
  3. Motivation letter
  4. Possible interview

Evaluation Rules

The evaluation of all course units is continuous and must be completed by the last day of the school term of the academic semester. The continuous evaluation must include a minimum of three elements, on dates adequately spaced throughout the period of classes. All course units with a theoretical-practical evaluation component must provide an additional form of evaluation by exam.
