Program Overview

Master's in Leadership - Executive

The Executive Masters in Leadership aims to contribute to the development of organizations through their talents, creating lines of lasting leadership that strengthen management and people development. Human capital is strategic per se, being one of the key sustainability factors of the business. This Masters will focus on the development of leadership relationships suited for different challenges in the organizations, including the challenges of attracting, developing, and retaining talent through practices that are motivating.

Education Objectives

The program intends to help organizations understand and deal with changes, constantly following them and adapting, which requires an innovation culture, (re)definition of strategy capabilities, negotiation, alignment, and mobilization of the whole. The learning objectives include:

• Identify the differences and points of complementarity between the roles of leader and manager.
• Get to know the challenges of leading teams in a face-to-face and remote context.
• Understand the importance of the organizational culture and develop the skills needed to map, plan, and implement a positive change, monitoring the results and impacts of change.
• Develop general management skills.

Degree Pre-requisites

Completion of 60 ECTS distributed as follows: 30 ECTS in curricular units + 30 ECTS in thesis (Work project). For the Master graduation, its necessary to fulfill the academic requirements and the number of ECTS indicated, as per the course offered in the academic year.

Conditions of Admittance

• Holders of a bachelors degree or equivalent, or holder of a foreign higher academic degree following a 1st cycle of studies according to the Bologna process, or holder of an equivalent academic degree acquired abroad that is recognized by Nova SBE.
• Hold an academic degree in areas such as Management, Technologies, Social Sciences, or similar.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in functions relevant to their academic area, preferably as executives and or managers who intend to improve or update their skills in the areas of Leadership.
