Course Overview
This course develops a human-centred approach to design, exploring projects from intimate spaces to residential scale. Students work with real sites, contexts, and users, and learn to use professional software like AutoCAD, Rhino, and Cinema 4D. The course includes portfolio workshops, industry events, and an optional placement year to prepare students for careers in interior design.
Entry Requirements
- A-levels or BTEC: Entry requirements are in the range of A-level BBBBCC (120104 UCAS Tariff points) or BTEC Extended Diploma DDMMMM.
- International Baccalaureate: 27 points, with three subjects at Higher level.
- Access to HE Diploma: Pass with 60 credits overall. Art and design diploma preferred.
- Foundation degree/HND: May enable students to start the course in year 3, with related subjects or practical/professional experience required.
- English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.

Facilities
The course has access to dedicated studio spaces, specialist model-making and construction workshops, photographic studios, digital fabrication facilities, and PC and Mac computer suites with professional software.
