The International Master of Business Administration is a practitioner-oriented program grounded in the latest research on strategic management. It prepares students for leadership roles in private or public organizations, focusing on leadership, economics, finance, operations, information systems, innovation, human capital, marketing, governance, and strategy.
Program Overview
The program features international guest lecturers and the possibility of participating in a study tour to a European city. Through a variety of interdisciplinary and interconnecting units, it seeks to attain the dual purpose of providing subject matter mastery, as well as training in key 21st-century skills such as decision-making, ethical conduct, strategic diagnosis, presentation techniques, teamwork, and self-paced reflection.

Admission Requirements
- Applicants seeking admission to the course shall have a minimum of three years of appropriate work experience, excluding work carried out during full-time study, and shall be in possession of a Bachelor's degree from the University of Malta or any other institution recognized by the Senate.
- The Admissions Board may admit applicants not in possession of a first-cycle degree if they are satisfied that such applicants are in possession of:
- A higher diploma or a diploma at Level 5 on the MQF, comprising not less than 90 ECTS credits in a related area of study, together with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- Other academic or professional qualifications and a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience, that together are deemed to be comparable to the qualification indicated.
- Applicants referred to above shall be required to demonstrate the learning achieved through prior experience and the qualifications presented for entry, through the evaluation procedures established by the University Policy for the Recognition and Accreditation of Prior Learning (RPL).

Specializations
Students can choose to specialize in Public Management or Tourism Management, with specific compulsory units for each specialization.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Appraise different leadership styles and approaches and debate their appropriateness in different contexts.
- Analyze and discuss key economic concepts and apply them to strategic recommendations in the context of an organization.
- Evaluate contextual realities and produce industry and organizational analyses; provide alignment and propose strategic options for an organization to effectively engage and attain its objectives in a given context or market.
- Interpret financial statements correctly and propose courses of action on the basis of financial data.
- Analyze the market being served by an organization, assess marketing options, propose marketing strategies, and design communication interventions on a creative and execution level.
- Design, revise, and propose operational, logistical, and value-adding processes and initiatives to make the operations of an organization more efficient and effective.

- An Early Bird Discount of Eur 2,000 will apply for students who submit a completed application by 30th June 2025 and who pay the Eur 1,000 deposit within 7 days from the date of the Letter of Acceptance.
Career Opportunities
As a graduate holding an International MBA, students will be able to find employment in both the private and public sector locally and internationally, in careers such as management consulting, investment banking, entrepreneurship, corporate finance, and international business. They may also opt to enroll in a doctorate program at the University of Malta or a foreign institution abroad.
