Bachelor in Performing Arts (Honours)
The Bachelor in Performing Arts (Honours) is a three-year undergraduate program that prepares students for a combined degree in the Performing Arts with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach. The course allows students to take study-units from three different performance disciplines: Dance Studies, Music Studies, and Theatre Studies.
Program Overview
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the performing arts, including key practitioners, practices, and theorists of performance. Students will develop knowledge and understanding of historical and contemporary contexts of the production and reception of theory and performance, as well as the relationship of performance to its material, cultural, and historical contexts.
Program Structure
The program consists of three years of study, with students required to choose study-units to the value of 60 ECTS credits per year. The total number of study-units taken must be shared approximately equally among the three areas of study. In the final year, students are required to complete a dissertation in combined performing arts, involving at least two or all three disciplines.
Year 1
In the first year, students are required to choose study-units to the value of 52 ECTS credits from the elective study-units on offer during the year and 8 ECTS credits from the optional study-units. The elective study-units include:

Year 2
In the second year, students are required to choose study-units to the value of 56 ECTS credits from the elective study-units on offer during the year and 4 ECTS credits from the optional study-units. The elective study-units include:

Year 3
In the third year, students are required to choose study-units to the value of 48 ECTS credits from the elective study-units on offer during the year. The elective study-units include:

Admission Requirements
- General Entry Requirements: Refer to the list of country-specific qualifications.
- Special Course Requirements: All applicants shall be required to undertake an interview.
- Notes and any other requirements: Applicants considered as "Adult Learners" (mature applicants) must be in possession of those qualifications and/or experience that would satisfy the Board that they have reached the academic standard required to follow the course with profit.
Tuition Fees
- Fee per academic year for non-EU nationals: Eur 8,500.
Career Opportunities
After completing this course, graduates will possess interdisciplinary skills and knowledge in dance, music, and theatre, and will be able to seek employment opportunities in a wide variety of areas, including teaching, arts and cultural industries, performance companies, broadcasting, journalism, archiving, academic research, publishing, scriptwriting, and proof-reading. The program is also conceived as one of the pathways for a career in academia.
