The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Work is a four-year undergraduate program that aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge, values, and skills to practice as social workers. Admission Requirements

  • General Entry Requirements: Refer to the list of country-specific qualifications.
  • Notes and any other requirements: Applicants in possession of the Diploma in Social Work of this University, or a comparable qualification in an area related to Social Work or Social Policy, or who have obtained credits for study-units considered by the Board to be equivalent to those in the Course may also be admitted to the Course.
  • Applicants in terms of the 'maturity (adult learners) clause' are required to sit for an English Proficiency Test.
  • Requires the submission of a Police Certificate of Conduct.
